Technology and Desk coordination
Litmus Risk powers the institutional platform and coordinates the advisor-facing P&C Desk workflow. The software subscription is offered to professional organizations—not to consumers as a standalone retail product.

LICENSING & DISCLOSURES
The P&C Insurance Desk combines technology and coordination with policy and claims support from Litmus licensed professionals. A brokerage enters the experience only when a client chooses to obtain or replace coverage.
WHO DOES WHAT
Litmus licensed professionals provide policy and claims support within the authority required for the service and jurisdiction. When a client chooses to obtain or replace coverage, the client's selected licensed brokerage firm handles the insurance transaction.
Litmus Risk powers the institutional platform and coordinates the advisor-facing P&C Desk workflow. The software subscription is offered to professional organizations—not to consumers as a standalone retail product.
Litmus licensed insurance professionals review insurance information, explain coverage, identify questions and potential gaps, and provide guidance and advice within the scope of their authority.
Litmus claims coaches are licensed adjusters with more than 30 years of experience who serve the advisor and client—not the carrier. They help people understand the process, collect information, document a loss, and prepare questions. Claims coaching does not include carrier claim adjusting, public adjusting, coverage determinations, settlement negotiation, or legal advice.
A client may keep an incumbent broker or authorize an introduction to a vetted participating national brokerage firm through Broker Access. The selected brokerage firm provides quotes, places and binds coverage, and services the policy within its authority.
LITMUS LICENSING
Litmus holds company licenses or registrations to support its policy and claims work across the jurisdictions shown below. Each service remains subject to the authority of the assigned professional, jurisdiction, carrier appointments where applicable, underwriting, market access, product availability, and the facts of the engagement.
License status and authority can change. Contact Litmus to confirm current licensing, availability, scope, and the role Litmus will play before relying on this summary.

HOW THE P&C INSURANCE DESK WORKS
When clients access the platform, they authorize the Litmus engagement. Litmus licensed professionals can then provide policy and claims support within their authority.
Litmus does not share a client's information with a brokerage unless the client provides separate authorization.
When a client wants to obtain or replace coverage, a licensed Broker Access firm handles quoting, placement, binding, and policy servicing.
The client decides whether to pursue coverage, selects the brokerage, and makes all final coverage decisions.
